The school panto was always an eagerly awaited event, teachers and pupils took part to entertain us in Snow White. I will always remember the talking mirror, played brilliantly by Mrs Randall, who informed me, when I saw her last year, at her next door neighbours, that she was so nervous, no idea why, she was excellent. She was also one of the nicest teachers in the school, if it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t have passed my French exam as well as I did. She gave us extra coaching at lunchtimes and took the time to make sure we had as much help as possible. So sorry she is no longer here, rest in peace Mrs R, you were one of the best.
